Give Your Time
Our clinics are staffed by trained eye care professionals, so volunteer roles at EyeCare4Kids are limited — but they do come up, and they matter. Most fall into three areas.
Where We Use Volunteers
Community Screening Events
Help our mobile team run vision screenings at community events — setup, check-in, guiding families through the line, and teardown. No medical background needed.
Inventory Support
Sort and organize donated lenses and frames so they are ready for patients. This can be done by individuals or by a group looking for a service project.
Licensed Optometrists
Donate a day of your professional time at a clinic or a community screening event. Tell us your license state and availability and we will find a fit.
Opportunities depend on our event schedule, so we keep a list and reach out when something fits. Adding your name does not commit you to anything.

More Ways to Make an Impact
Whether or not a volunteer opening fits your schedule, there are plenty of ways to help a child see clearly.
- Sponsor a mobile clinic day for a school or community site
- Donate — $40 gives one child an eye exam and glasses
- Donate used frames and glasses
- Tell a school or community organization about us
