At EyeCare4Kids (EC4K), our mission has always been to provide essential vision care to underserved children and families. The 2024 #LightTheWorld Giving Machines initiative offered a unique platform for our community to support this mission, and we are thrilled to share the outcomes with you!
A Community United in Giving
The Giving Machines, conceptualized by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, function as charitable vending machines, allowing individuals to “purchase” items that directly benefit those in need. Located at the University Place Mall in Orem, Utah, these machines have become a beacon of generosity during the holiday season. In 2024, EC4K was honored to be among the selected charities to be involved in the Orem, Utah Giving Machines in University Place, providing donors with tangible ways to support vision care initiatives.

Expanding Our Reach
In 2024, we expanded our mobile vision clinics to rural areas, including Monument Valley, Richfield, and Nephi, ensuring that even the most remote communities have access to essential eye care. Additionally, the opening of our new clinic in Ogden stands as a testament to our commitment to serve more individuals in need.
