Recently, EyeCare4Kids partnered with Idaho Falls-based A-B-See Vision Care and junior hockey team, the Idaho Spud Kings, to raise money to provide underserved children and families across Idaho with professional eye care.
A-B-See Vision Care sponsored Star Wars Spud Kings jerseys that were auctioned during their fundraiser night. This money will help EC4K provide eye exams and other services in Idaho Falls in partnership with A-B-See Vision Care. EC4K and A-B-See are planning to do vision clinics this spring.
“This type of community engagement helps hundreds of kids with eye care and eyeglasses,” said Maggie Cline, executive director of EyeCare4Kids Utah. “It’s clear that this community cares about its neighbors, and we are looking forward to working with A-B-See later this year to extend needed vision care services for local children and families.
