The generous support of The Marc C. and Deborah H. Bingham Foundation has had an incredible impact on thousands of young people in Utah. More than 10,000 kids have received personalized vision care from EyeCare4Kids thanks to The Bingham Foundation’s kindness.
In 2007, the Binghams founded Blue Diamond Capital following the sale of their successful company, Phone Directories Company. With holdings in 12 Western States and Canada, Blue Diamond Capital has had recognized success of its own. The Binghams consistently show their desire to share their success and help make the world a better place through their incredible philanthropy. They share their time and talents with multiple organizations and have given generously to higher education, cancer research and conservation efforts.
Thanks to their generous support of vision services throughout Utah, EyeCare4Kids now offers services to children in Utah’s Uintah Basin for the first time. A new mobile unit, dubbed the “Bingham Bus,” allows EyeCare4Kids’ eye care professionals the ability to reach children who did not otherwise have access to vision services. The Binghams are essential to our new partnership with Uintah Basin Health, which provides space and other crucial help that has allowed EyeCare4Kids to open new part-time clinics in Vernal and Roosevelt.
“We cannot thank the Binghams enough for their remarkable support,” said Joseph Carbone, President and CEO of EyeCare4Kids. “Perhaps what I appreciate even more than their gifts is how Marc and Debbie continue to show that they truly care about the kids we serve.”
