National Volunteer Week (April 16-22, 2023)  is an opportunity to celebrate the impact of volunteer service, and the power of volunteers to make a difference and be a force to transform the world. This week, EC4K AZ is highlighting some of the amazing volunteers who allow us to give sight to children in Arizona.

We LOVE all of our VOLUNTEERS!

Dr. Ric Rios
Dr. Ric Rios (Scottsdale, AZ) has demonstrated his commitment to EC4K AZ where he VOLUNTEERS as the medical director as well as offers his optometric services in both the Alhambra Vision Clinic and Mobile Vision Clinic.  BIG THANKS go to Dr. Ric!!

Dr. Cathy Hollenback
Dr. Hollenbach provides comprehensive eye exams and manages ocular diseases as well spectacle and contact lens prescriptions to her clients at Scottsdale Eye Care. She also VOLUNTEERS her talent, time and resources at EC4K AZ seeing underserved children to give them the gift of sight! Dr. Hollenback we APPRECIATE YOU!

Dr. Caroline Greago
One of Dr. Caroline Greago’s passions is volunteering in her community – and one of the organizations in which she chooses to volunteer is EC4K AZ!  She is a volunteer optometrist in the Mobile Vision Clinic and is loved by the children she sees! Dr. Greago, THANK YOU!

Dr. Tom Determan
Dr. Tom Determan, optometrist at the Yuma Vision Center, recently worked a EC4K AZ Mobile Clinic Vision event and saw 21 K-8th grade children at San Luis Middle School, San Luis, AZ. The children were screened, had their vision tested and self-selected the frames for their new glasses.  To Dr. Determan, Ms. Olga Covarrubias and Ms. Itzel Romero, from his office, THANK YOU for giving sight to these children!!
