Marjorie was referred to EyeCare4Kids from Circles Salt Lake (Purpose – Circles Salt Lake).
She is currently a college student and single mom with two grown children on the Autism spectrum. Despite struggling with her own disabilities and trauma, she attends school full-time and is working towards self-sufficiency through the Circles initiative. Those that know Marjorie describe her as “a very kind and thoughtful person with a fun personality. She especially loves to garden when the weather is nice.”
Marjorie visited EyeCare4Kids recently and she already received her glasses.
Britanee Montano, a coach with Circles Salt Lake, said, “She is so happy and excited! She never had an ideal prescription.”
“It’s amazing how clear and different the world is now that I have the perfect glasses,” said Marjorie.
“It’s so cool to see how happy she is,” added Britanee. “Thank you for your help!”
Both Britanee and Marjorie are excited to share her success story with the rest of the Circles community and invite more people to visit the clinic.
With her eye care taken care of, Marjorie can now focus on her primary goals of finishing her degree and finding a job in the career of her choice.
