It’s been an exciting season for EyeCare4Kids Utah as we continue bringing the gift of sight to children and families across the state. Our mobile vision clinics have been on the move—traveling to schools in St. George and Salt Lake City to provide eye exams and glasses for students who might otherwise go without. We also recently partnered with Charity Vision and Rocky Mountain University, where our mobile team provided on-site vision care to families receiving essential community support at Tabitha’s Way Pantry. These visits ensure that access to quality vision care truly reaches every corner of our state.
This fall, our leadership team also participated in the first semi-annual Children’s Vision Summit, joining forces with school nurses, administrators, and fellow nonprofit organizations from across Utah. Together, we explored new strategies to identify children in need and connect them to care more efficiently. These collaborations are vital—they strengthen our collective impact and help ensure that no child is left behind because of an undiagnosed vision issue.
We were also thrilled to welcome a wonderful group of volunteers from SeekWell, who spent the day at our Midvale clinic helping us sort frames and lenses. Their enthusiasm and hard work were such a boost to our team, and we are deeply grateful for their support in helping us stay organized and ready to serve more patients.
We are proud to share that our CEO, Maggie Cline, was recently honored at Vision Expo West as one of Vision Monday’s “Most Influential Women in Optical.” This recognition reflects not only Maggie’s leadership but also the dedication of our entire EyeCare4Kids team, whose daily work transforms lives one pair of glasses at a time.
Finally, we extend heartfelt thanks to our generous supporters and partners. Your belief in our mission allows us to continue providing critical vision care services to thousands of Utah children and families each year. Together, we’re helping them see their futures clearly.
