Along with countless other nonprofits, we are incredibly honored to be recognized and supported by Elaine for the work we do in the community.
However, it is the work of Elaine, and the Elaine P. Wynn & Family Foundation, that shines bright and we know her legacy will forever endure.
A quick story about Elaine…EyeCare4Kids was fortunate to be included in the Light the World Giving Machine campaign and Elaine and Punam made a visit one evening at Downtown Summerlin. As the photographer was gathering the charity representatives for a photo with Elaine, a young boy wandered over to her and said, “All of these people want a picture with you. Are you someone important?” And, without missing a beat, Elaine responded, “Not nearly as important as you,” and then gave him a hug and asked him to stay in the picture.
